His portrayal of a modern vampire in the made for TV "The Dark Prince of Illustration" (cable 1991) would have made Lugosi himself rise up from the grave just to deliver applause. Romero recently left behind the School of Visual Arts in New York to pursue a freelance career in illustration. Prior to becoming a freelancer, Romero also worked as an assisting instructor of Photoshop and web design at United Digital Artists for a number of years. Romero now leads a dual existence as an employee of the Chopping Block, Inc. and as the front man of Nocturna Studios where hauntingly rich illustration is his specialty.
