A N T U P D A T E At 5:32pm, on the evening of June 22, the members of The Chopping Block looked on in horror as one of their own, Tommy Romer, threw the remaining 10 ants from the window of their 12th floor New York City studio. When asked how he could do such a thing Romer replied, "I just wanted to set them free, that's all." Apparently the once bustling ant farm had recently taken a turn for the worse and Romer didn't want the few surviving ants to suffer the same fate as their fellow workers. The Chop Scouts are working to rebuild their ant farm and to put this whole incident behind them. No charges have been filed against Romer yet, but it's safe to say he won't be allowed within 50 feet of the farm when the new ants arrive. |
